Blemish Be Free Salve
Yellow! So we are going to get down to the nitty gritty. When I joined Crossfit, I weighed 180lbs. Dealing with the Summer's that led up to this were physically unbearable. I missed wearing dresses and skirts but coverage was comfort so I had to find a routine that resulted in carrying around baby powder with me. You could've called me "Powder Pants". Later on when I committed to a healthier lifestyle, it involved daily dedication and LOTS of sweating and the Summer heat was against me. That's when the pain got worse and with three kids to take care of single-handedly that didn't fly with me- so I turned to my oils. A dear friend told me about this recipe and it saved my active lifestyle and even healed the wounds! So I HAD to share because I know the suffering other folks go through when they can't even enjoy a beautiful Summer outing with family and friends because they have unbearable pain on their mind.
2oz glass amber jar (amber/cobalt color protects oils exposure)
cold-pressed coconut oil
4 drops Frankincense
4 drops Purification
4 drops Lavender
I recently discovered adding Lemon to this salve and it is amazing! Add in 4 drops. If you do not have Frankincense, that is ok-it will still work. Let it be known that Frank is the Gandalf of all oils ;)
Add drops first then coconut oil, this ensures oils from running over the brim when stirring as it'll melt and become smooth. Add in as much cold-pressed Coconut oil as needed, stir and fold with tiny spatula, apply as much as needed (especially before a sweaty activity) and be ready for healing!
If you really want to step it up a notch and invest in the care of your body, try Epsom salt baths with these oils added. Make sure you buy pure Epsom salts, not ones already fragranced with add-ins of unknown origin.
Please enjoy and of course let us know if this recipe (or others) has changed your life for the best!!
