Essential Oils and Animals
If you have pets, you can relate to the importance of their health! Not only should we take care of our "furbabies" but we must keep in mind they deserve some pampering without breaking the bank. You will find different suggestions for optimal health for your pet, along with some MUST avoid products!
Since we love to share our food with our pets, it is very important we are sharing food that will benefit their life.
This picture shows some great items to support those terrible ailments. Remember, our bodies will heal itself with the correct support. So be sure you are supporting the right areas.
Some DANGEROUS items that you would never think are dangerous. Rawhides are considered extremely dangerous for your pets. In fact, the Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA both discourage rawhide consumption and list it among the dangerous household products for pets (next to pesticides and cleaning chemicals).
There is so many concerns with these "treats" but the top 3 fears for me would be the following:
1. Choking - While a dog starts to chew these items in pieces they can get the small shards stuck in throat.
2. Contamination - In 2008 and 2011, there were 6 major FDA recalls of rawhide due to salmonella. These bones can be laced with all kinds of bacteria.Intestinal
3. Blockage - These items are unable to be digested by your dog. So if swallowed there is a good chance it will get into their intestines and swell. This could cause diarrhea, vomiting, and pancreatitis. If the bone is unable to pass, you're now looking at a vet bill for surgery.
Please do the proper research before even considering these "treats" for your fur babies.
